UploadFTP

FTP is the most used method of transferring files and folders to and from the Internet. It's a much better method than sending files through email as attachments. Still, in order to be able to connect to a FTP server and exchange files, you will first need to install a FTP client. The one which is included in the Windows operating system is command line based and very difficult to use.

On the other hand, UploadFTP is different from the Windows FTP client and from other FTP clients available on the market, as it offers a graphical interface and very simple functionality. After installing and launching the application, the user will be asked to enter the email address and password in order to log into the application. In case he doesn't have an account, he can easily create one by accessing the program's website. After logging into the application, it's time to add some details regarding the FTP server, like the address, username, password, port, home folder and so on.

Unfortunately, there is no way of storing all this data in a connection manager. After entering the required details, the program will connect to the FTP server. Transferring files to and from FTP can be performed with ease, using the drag and drop feature, as the interface of UploadFTP includes two side-by-side panels, one showing the local files and the other one displaying the files located on the FTP server.

The interface of UploadFTP also includes a complex search tool, which allows you to find certain files and folders on the hard disk, in real-time. What's more, UploadFTP includes a synchronization feature, which allows the user to automatically sync offline files with FTP ones at chosen intervals of time. This feature is useful for keeping a backup of all the important files and folders stored on the hard disk. There is also a scheduling feature available, which allows programming the application to run certain FTP commands at certain hours.
